On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, our elementary school teachers will be sharing curriculum and content information with parents in a virtual format. Information about time and how to access the format will be coming out to families soon. Please note that Back to School Night will be held VIRTUALLY, not in person!
Smile and say “Cheese!” Hankey’s Picture Day is scheduled for Friday, September 10th, 2021. Parents- there will be no order forms or money needed for picture day itself. Every student will be photographed and you will have a variety of poses to select from before placing your order. Information will be sent home a few weeks after picture day explaining ordering procedures.
Hankey’s first PTSA Association Meeting will be on Tuesday, August 24th at 6:30 via Zoom. We look forward to discussing our 2021-22 plans and goals.

Students will be able to find out who their teacher is for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year on Monday, August 16, 2021 after 3:00 p.m. Please see Mrs. Aguilera’s email for detailed instructions.
Our K-8 Early Out Day has returned to Wednesdays, beginning Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
Middle School: 8:00-12:15pm
Kindergarten: 8:00-12:55pm
Grades 1st-5th: 8:00-1:05pm

The 2021-22 school year officially begins tomorrow, August 17. We will be on a Minimum Day Schedule:
Grades 1-5th 8:00-12:05 pm
Grades 6th-8th 8:00-12:15 pm
Kindergarten:
Mrs. Moothart: 8:15-9:30 am
Ms. Smith: 9:45-11:00 am
Hankey’s annual Beautification Day is back! Join us on Saturday, August 14th from 8:00am-12:00pm and show your Hawk Pride! There will be lots of opportunities to demonstrate the IB learner profile attribute of caring. Projects for all ages and skill levels are available to prepare our campus for the first day of school. Garden in our school garden and our mindfulness courtyard. Write back to school chalk messages of support and encouragement. Organize Art Masters supplies for the coming year. Help replace bag hooks with power tools. Water and light refreshments will be provided on a first come first serve basis. We look forward to seeing you next week at our Outdoor Middle School Registration! Parking will be available in the parking lot and on the street. Registration Tables will be located in the front of the school.
To help you complete your child’s registration process, please make sure that you have the following:
Required District forms: Completed Data Confirmation Form printed out and signed from the Parent Portal, McKinney Vento form – one per student
Students will be picking up their class schedules. We will be distributing textbooks after school begins.
Find out about PTSA, CHIEF, and yearbooks, stop at the Language B table and meet Senora Hogancamp, take a selfie at the Selfie Station, and more!
