Charleston Wrap Fundraiser

Thank you to those families that have registered online already to support Hankey’s PTSA by participating in our catalog fundraiser, Charleston Wrap. We have already chosen 5 names to compete in our Roller Derby Game after the close of our fundraiser. Turn in your tickets before school to be eligible for our next drawing on October 1st. PTSA reps will be outside of school this Monday, September 27th, Wednesday September 29th and Friday October 1st before school to distribute your student’s incentive prizes and collect your sale tickets. Register your student at registercw.com (Organization ID 11311) and send out 10, 15, or 20 emails to win prizes. Turn in your tickets after you’ve sold the designated amount on them to receive collectable roller botz at the table outside of school. Our fundraiser deadline is October 1st, 2021, so share the link and/or our order catalog with family and friends to support our school today! Please contact Flor Rios with any questions you might have about Charleston wrap or the incentive prizes at floralday005@gmail.com

Kona Ice Is BACK!!!!!!

And easier than ever! Our school now has it’s own event page/app. You can prepay each week for your special Friday treat!

Here are the details:

Go to this page to prepay on this link: kona-ice.com/pay

Two days before the event, the event code can be entered in the specific event field and you will see the event for Carl Hankey. You simply place your order for your child. You can also do a “pay it forward” for another student. Kona Ice will close the site on the day of the event at 5am and no more orders can be made then. This will give us time to organize the list before coming to your school. They print out a list of students who paid for a Kona Ice. All your child has to do is tell them their name.

The event code is F01541.

It will not be ready to take orders until 9/15 @ 8am and will stop taking orders on 9/17 @5am.

See you on 9/17 @ noon.

Students can ONLY get a Kona Ice if they prepay.

How will our children change the world? In light of so many difficult current events, this question seems more important and exciting than ever, and the PTA wants to know what your children think! The theme of this year’s national PTA Reflections art program is “I will change the world by . . .” Students can express their ideas through a variety of artistic methods, including:

 – Dance/choreography

 – Literature

 – Photography

 – Film production

 – Visual arts

 – Music composition

The deadline for submissions will be Monday, October 4. Rules and entry forms can be found in the front office or online at https://capta.org/resource/participant-forms/  Details to follow soon! For any questions in the meantime, please contact Nora Eastman: reflections@caartadvisory.com
