Holiday Hat and Sweater Days Wednesday and Thursday

Hankey K8 Academy students and staff- it’s time to find your favorite holiday hats, scarves and/or ugly holiday sweaters because Wednesday, December 16 and Thursday, December 17 are HOLIDAY HAT and SWEATER SPIRIT DAYS- twice as much holiday cheer this year!  Kindergarten and 1st Grade students can wear their PJ’s on Wednesday, 12/16 and their Holiday best on Thursday, December 17.  Students-please remember to observe our dress code policy.

Monday schedule for 6-8th

Due to our upcoming student free day on Friday, December 18, 2020, Hankey Middle Schoolers will be ONLINE following the Tuesday-Friday, (8:00-1:40) bell schedule on MONDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2020.

  •        Grey Cohort will attend periods 2,4,5,6. ONLINE (8:00-1:40)
  •        Red Cohort will be working independently ONLINE (8:00-1:40)
  •        We will NOT be holding SOAR on Monday, December 14.  Lunch will be from 11:45-12:45.  Period 5 will begin at 12:50pm

Mr. Delgado will be conducting PE office hours from 1:40-2:35pm for Grey students. Mrs. Foote will be conducting Spanish office hours for Red students.

Middle School Parent Survey

A week ago, middle school families received a survey link from Ryan Burris. Thank you to those who have already completed it- your input provides valuable information about our health & safety measures as well as our in-person and online learning programs, and will help us continue to improve the educational experience for our school community.

If you have not yet completed the survey, the deadline to complete the survey and include any additional feedback has been extended to Monday, November 16 at 5:00 pm. 

Please complete one survey for each student in your family, and please only answer the prompts and questions for the programs and services that are provided to your student.

Fun Art for Kids

Age 7 to 11

Get ready for a fun-packed hour of language arts and fine arts! First, we will read a timely and fun story book and then we will do a directed draw based on the book we read.  Supplies needed will be colored pencils and white paper. *No class December 23 and 30.
